Welcome
to AA in
North Idaho, Northwest Montana, and Northeast Washington.
District
14 includes the towns of Sandpoint, Bonners Ferry, Hope, Clark Fork,
Elmira, Priest Lake and Priest River in North Idaho; Libby, Troy and
Noxon in Montana; and Newport, Cusick, Usk, and Blanchard in Washington.
Changes
To The Phone Service:
- AA members will be answering the phone calls
instead of an answering service.
- During
the transition period, the
local phone numbers for District 14 will forward to the 800.326.2164
number. During this transition time, we
will be updating our contact information in the local phone books and
with local agencies and organizations who refer people to us.
The next meeting schedule will have only our 800 phone number
listed. All calls will be forwarded to our 800 number during the
transition period.
- After the
transition period, we will have only ONE
phone number for
the entire district - our current toll-free 800.326.2164 number.
Ask your GSR
how to get on the list to answer the
phone!
Did
you know?
...that on page xxiv of the 4th Edition of Alcoholics Anonymous it
states:
"While our literature has preserved the integrity of the A.A. message,
sweeping changes in society as a whole are reflected in new customs and
practices within the Fellowship. Taking advantage of technological
advances, for example, A.A. members with computers can participate in
meetings online, sharing with fellow alcoholics across the country or
around the world. In any meeting, anywhere, A.A.'s share experience,
strength, and hope with each other, in order to stay sober and help
other alcoholics. Modem-to-modem or face-to-face, A.A.'s speak the
language of the heart in all its power and simplicity."
